Gas Equipment Installer
This course fulfills the 40-hour classroom requirement, consisting of Equipment Installation and Venting instruction (comparable to CETP Book 4.3). It is combined with a minimum of 1,000 hours (an additional six months) of field experience—for a combined total of one year, including the Gas Piping Installer license requirement—to become licensed as a New Hampshire Gas Equipment Installer.
Successful completion of this class qualifies students for licensure to work with both Natural Gas and LP Gas systems.
Prerequisite:
- Basic Theory & Gas Piping
Required Materials:
- National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) code book (available on Amazon)
- A printed, full-color course manual covering all instructional materials is provided.

Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 PM to 8:30 PM.
