About the Course

Hybrid Online & In-Person
Granite State Trade School (GSTS) has partnered with the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) to offer the e-Learning Mentoring Program, providing a flexible hybrid training option for plumbing apprentices.

Students enroll through GSTS, receive login credentials to access the PHCC online learning platform, and complete their coursework online. In addition, students attend mentoring sessions at our Raymond, NH campus, where instructors provide classroom instruction, hands-on guidance, and support for technical questions or course challenges.
GSTS is committed to delivering high-quality training programs that meet both e-learning requirements and traditional in-class learning needs. Our programs are designed to offer the best training and value for aspiring plumbing professionals.

Program Requirements:
All apprentices must attend the required mentoring sessions at GSTS.
The final exam must be proctored according to course guidelines.
Course fees do not include textbooks. Textbooks may be purchased separately through GSTS or Cengage Learning.
Textbook cost: $150 per level (includes shipping).

Payment & Enrollment Policies:
All fees must be prepaid.
Students enrolling in any year other than Year 1 must provide proof of eligibility.
Enrollment fees are non-refundable.
Courses may be transferred within the first 60 days of enrollment

HVAC 101 Online

Prerequisites: None

This program is designed to provide students who cannot attend classes in a traditional apprentice program with the same opportunity to learn the textbook fundamentals of the trade. This training course must be supplemented by your employer, through both technical assistance and on‐the‐job training in each area of instruction in the book. Students must attend a few mentoring classes in our Raymond, NH facility.

No scheduled mentoring sessions. Students may attend our regularly scheduled HVAC evening courses for mentoring.

HVAC 101 Online

Prerequisites: HVAC 101 or equivalent

This program is designed to provide students who cannot attend classes in a traditional apprentice program with the same opportunity to learn the textbook fundamentals of the trade. This training course must be supplemented by your employer, through both technical assistance and on‐the‐job training in each area of instruction in the book. Students must attend a few mentoring classes in our Raymond, NH facility.
