About the Course

Granite State Trade School is the only gas training school in New England that is approved and accepted in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Our Master Service Technician course provides advanced training for professionals seeking to be recognized as true specialists in the safe servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of natural gas and propane appliances and equipment.

Technicians who achieve Master Service Technician status inspire confidence in customers, employers, and manufacturers by demonstrating a higher level of expertise and commitment to safety and performance.
This 40-hour course emphasizes hands-on training, focusing on proper service and troubleshooting techniques, as well as the startup and testing procedures required by most manufacturers. Instruction includes best practices for gas pressure testing, flame current measurement, and combustion analysis.
