About the Course

This course fulfills the 40-hour classroom requirement for the Service Technician track. It is combined with a minimum of 2,000 hours (at least one year) of field experience and includes the Gas Piping Installer and Gas Equipment Installer license requirements outlined above, leading to licensure as a Gas Service Technician. Successful completion of this class qualifies students for licensure to service Natural Gas and LP Gas appliances and equipment.

Prerequisites:
• Gas Piping Installer requirements
• Gas Equipment Installer requirements

Required Materials:
• National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) code book (available on Amazon)
• A printed, full-color course manual covering all instructional materials is provided.
