About the Course

This course is certified by NORA, the National Oil Research Alliance, which offers three levels of technician training: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

This 100-hour course is rated at the NORA Bronze level. Under NORA standards, a technician must complete the required education hours, pass the certification exam, and document three years of employer-certified field experience to advance from Bronze to Silver level.

Students who complete the course and pass the exam but do not yet have the required three years of field experience will be awarded the NORA Bronze Certificate until the field experience requirement is met.

The NORA Silver certification is accepted by New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont for various licensing requirements.
