About the Course
Granite State Trade School offers a comprehensive in-person HVAC program as an alternative to our e-Learning HVAC course. This two-year program meets in the evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., two nights per week, and is structured into four semesters, each consisting of 75 hours of instruction. Students begin with HVAC 101 and progress through HVAC 401 to earn their HVAC Certificate.
Course Content Includes:
Thermodynamics and HVAC/R fundamentals
Installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC/R equipment
Refrigerant cycle theory and practices
Use of tools, meters, and measuring devices
Control systems, condensers, furnaces, heat pumps, and split systems
General customer service and professional skills
Tuition:
$1,975 per semester
Total program cost: $7,900 (significantly lower than comparable programs costing up to $16,000)
All classes are held at Granite State Trade School, 42 Old Manchester Road, Raymond, NH unless otherwise noted.
